The results of research were found as follows: 1. In Theravada Buddhist scriptures, the Dhamma principle that supports the 5 Balas is Bodhipakkhiya Dhamma or 37 qualities contributing to enlightenment consisting of 4 foundations of mindfulness, 4 efforts, 4 paths of accomplishment, 5 controlling faculties, 5 Balas, 7 enlightenment factors, and the Eightfold Path. 2. In Theravada Buddhist philosophy, the 5 Balas are subtle principles assisting and supporting other Dhamma principles that lead to the salvation and liberate to the Round of Rebirth. In Mahayana Buddhist philosophy, the concept of Balas is similar. The 5 Balas are the foundation principles in life development. In practice, Viriya Bala is the strength of the Threefold Training which is the significant principle in human development. Training in morality, mentality and wisdom is brought into use training and developing the life.
