| dc.description.abstract | การกระทำอัตวินิบาตกรรมของพระภิกษุในสมัยพุทธกาลที่ปรากฏในพระไตรปิฎกและคัมภีร์ชั้นรองนั้นอาจกล่าวได้ว่ามีทั้งสิ้นอย่างน้อย 4 กรณี โดยแต่ละเหตุการณ์ก็เกิดขึ้นด้วยวัตถุประสงค์ที่แตกต่างกันไป เหตุการณ์ทั้งหมดมีทั้งที่เป็นเหตุการณ์ซึ่งส่งผลลัพธ์สุดท้ายในทางดีและไม่ดี แต่อย่างไรก็ดีไม่พบว่ามีหลักการในทางพระพุทธศาสนาใดที่บ่งชี้ว่าตัวการกระทำอัตวินิบาตกรรมเป็นการกระทำที่เป็นอกุศลร้ายแรง จากการศึกษา พบว่า พระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาทมิได้มีการประเมินคุณค่าของการทำอัตวินิบาตกรรมเอาไว้ โดยถือว่าเป็นเพียงการกระทำหนึ่งที่มีคุณค่าในทางจริยศาสตร์อย่างเป็นกลาง ๆ การจะประเมินคุณค่าในทางพุทธจริยศาสตร์ย่อมต้องอาศัยเงื่อนไขในทางจิตใจของผู้กระทำอันได้แก่แรงจูงใจหรือมูลในการกระทำและสภาวะของจิตในขณะที่สิ้นชีวิต กล่าวได้ว่าในสำหรับเรื่องอัตวินิบาตกรรมแล้วพุทธจริยศาสตร์ยึดถือเอาสภาวะของจิตใจเป็นสิ่งที่มีคุณค่าเหนือรูปแบบของการกระทำนั่นเอง | |
| dc.description.abstract | There are at least four suicidal monkcases in the Buddha’s life period which appear in Tipitaka and other scriptures,each case occurred by different objective. There are cases that end up with both good and bad results. However, there is no principle or doctrine indicates that the act of suicide is the seriously evil thing.According to the study, Theravada Buddhism has no ethical evaluation of the act of suicide, suicide is an action just like other action which is ethically neutral. To ethical evaluate, in Buddhism ethic, must depends on condition of the actor’s mind which are motivation and state of mind in the final moment of life. For the suicide issue in the aspect of Buddhism ethic, state of mind is ethically superior to the action. | en |
