dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิวัฒนาการคำเรียกสีพื้นฐาน วิเคราะห์กลวิธีการสร้างคำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐานในภาษาไทยสมัยธนบุรีและสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์และศึกษาความเปรียบในคำเรียกสี เรื่อง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาษาไทยในสมัยธนบุรีพบคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานทั้งหมด 6 คำ คือ คำเรียกสีขาว ดำ แดง เหลือง เขียว และม่วง ซึ่งไม่มีจำนวนคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานเพิ่มขึ้นจากในภาษาไทยสมัยอยุธยา และพบคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานในภาษาไทยสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ทั้งหมด 12 คำคือ คำเรียกสีขาว ดำ แดง เหลือง เขียว ชมพู แสด ฟ้า ม่วง เทา น้ำเงินและน้ำตาล ซึ่งมีจำนวนคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานเกิดขึ้นอีก 3 คำ คือ คำเรียกสีเทา และคำเรียกสีน้ำเงิน ที่พบครั้งแรกในสมัย รัชกาลที่ 1 และคำเรียกสีน้ำตาล ที่พบครั้งแรกในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 2 คำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐานในภาษาไทยสมัยธนบุรี มีกลวิธีการสร้าง 8 กลวิธี คือ 1) การขยายคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานด้วยคำคุณศัพท์ 2) การขยายคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานด้วยคำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐาน 3) การใช้คำเรียกสิ่งของเฉพาะเป็นคำเรียกสี 4) การใช้คำในภาษาอื่นมาใช้เป็นคำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐาน 5) การขยายคำเรียกสิ่งของเฉพาะที่ใช้เป็นคำเรียกสี 6) การขยายคำในภาษาอื่นที่นำมาใช้เป็นคำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐาน 7) การใช้คำที่ระบุสีเฉพาะที่อาจจัดอยู่ภายใต้คำเรียกสีอื่นได้ และ 8) การขยายใช้คำที่ระบุสีเฉพาะที่อาจจัดอยู่ภายใต้คำเรียกสีอื่นได้ ในภาษาไทยสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์มีกลวิธีสร้างคำเรียกสีไม่พื้นฐาน 10 กลวิธี คือพบกลวิธีเดียวกับในสมัยธนบุรีทั้ง 8 กลวิธี และพบเพิ่มเติมจากสมัยธนบุรีอีก 2 กลวิธี คือ 1) การประสมคำเรียกสีพื้นฐานเข้าด้วยกัน และ 2) คำเรียกสีที่ใช้เรียกของบางอย่างเท่านั้นอย่างเท่านั้น ในสมัยธนบุรีนิยมเปรียบเทียบสีกับสัตว์มากที่สุด ส่วนในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์นิยมเปรียบเทียบสีกับวัตถุในธรรมชาติมากที่สุด
dc.description.abstractThe purposes of this research are to study the evolution of basic color terms in Thai during the Thonburi and Rattanakosin Period, to analyze the formations of non-basic color terms and to study the comparison in Thai color terms with entities. The data was collected from 690 literatures composed during the two periods. There were 6 basic color terms in Thai during the Thonburi period; WHITE, BLACK, RED, YELLOW, GREEN and PURPLE. While there were found 12 basic color terms during the Rattanakosin period, which are WHITE, BLACK, RED, YELLOW, GREEN, PINK,ORANGE, LIGHT BLUE, PURPLE, GREY, DARK BLUE and BROWN. Therefore, there are 3 additional basic color terms used since the Ayutthaya Period, including GREY and DARK BLUE which were firstly found in the reign of King Rama I and BROWN in King Rama II. Eight strategies in coining non-basic color terms are found in the Thonburi period: 1) modifying basic color terms with adjective, 2) modifying basic color terms with non- basic color terms, 3) using specific objects as color terms, 4) using foreign color terms, 5) modifying the name of specific objects used as color terms, 6) modifying foreign color terms with adjective, 7) using the color terms that can be included within any other color terms 8) modifying included within those of any other colour terms. These eight strategies are also found in Rattanakosin period along with other 2 strategies: 1) compounding two basic color terms 2) using color terms that were restricted to some sing color ter objects. In the Thonburi period colors were mostly compared to animal. While in the Rattanakosin period colors were mostly compared to natural entities.en
