一个民族的自然语言是可以表征、指称、描述一切事物的符号系统，表现为文化符号的特殊语词则是自然语言符号的符号化，被赋予了特殊的文化内涵从而具备文化符号的属性。汉民族历史中的古琴文化是具有丰富意义内涵的抽象概念，只有当这一抽象概念被赋予或外化为古琴文化语词的形式，才能被社会确认、共享、累积、传承和发展。中国古琴文化语词是一个独具中国文化意蕴的语词文化符号系统，其文化内涵是物态古琴文化的客观折射，也承载了汉民族在对琴器、琴理、琴意进行思辨过程中逐渐积淀而成的独特的文化观念、文化情感和文化认知。
A natural national language is a set of symbol system that can represent, refer, describe anything.Within them, some special terms about cultural concept are symbolized natural language symbol, since they have special cultural implications, related properties of cultural symbol can be found on them. The Zither cultural of Han National history is an abstract concept with abundant significance. Only when the abstract concept was given with the form of zither culture, it can be recognized, shared, accumulated, inherited and developed in our society. The Zither Cultural Terms is a special cultural symbol system with special Chinese cultural implications. It is an objective reflection of the physical Zither Culture. It contains the special cultural concept, cultural emotions and cultural cognition that accumulated by Chinese during their thinking process on zither instrument, zither play regulations and zither appreciations.
