Abstract
This research sought to develop a semantic ontology of knowledge about the introduction of folk medicine. In this research; the content of folk medicine is presented comprehensively and the research goals or procedures are defined as follows: (1) determine the purpose and scope of the ontology; (2) develop the ontology by using the Hozo Ontology Editor program (Osaka University; Osaka; Japan); and (3) have an expert evaluate the ontology that is developed. The purpose of this research is to clarify the system-recommended treatment involving folk medicine that can guide patients well. Ideally; the treatment selection process will be accurate 100% of the time and can be used in related research.
