本文旨在理清中国高校泰语专业翻译人才的培养模式和面临的现实问题,为中学生高考后选择 泰语专业提供参考,为高校改善泰语专业建设提供材料,为泰语翻译聘用单位提供人选方向。论文以访谈法为主,文献法为辅,通过数据分析法说明真实情况。调查结果如下:开设泰语专业的高校 在地域上主要为中国西南省份:专业设立时间主要在 2000 年以后:泰语专业生源特别不均衡,过 于集中在西南地区:目前主流培养模式为 3+1 或 2+2,但“语言+专业/技能”的模式最被推崇:学 生反映泰语专业最难在翻译,其次为语音、字词和语法,急缺泰语语境:高校图书馆普通资料陈旧, 泰语读物稀缺:教师队伍相对年轻且数量不足,职称不高:泰语专业生北方就业情况好于南方,南 方就业压力巨大:机器翻译目 前尚无法取代人工翻译。通过问读本文,高考考生及其家庭应明白泰 语专业的高校分布特别不均匀:本专业名校的就业状况要明显好于普本、专科,报考应结合学生的 学习能力、学习动机和就业方向,道慎选择。在读泰语专业生通过本文应对自己对所在高校的泰语 专业有清晰定位,提早补缺,规划好未来是工作还是继续教市。招募单位通过本文,应了解到各高 校泰语专业均有其特色、培养模式、传统强项,要综合考虑才能挑选到契合的翻译人才。
The purpose of this paper is to clarify the training mode and practical problems faced by Thai translation talents in Chinese colleges and universities, to provide a reference for students to choose a Thai major after the college entrance examination, to provide materials for colleges and universities to improve the construction of Thai majors, and to provide choices for companies that need to hire Thai translators. The paper is mainly based on the interview method, supplemented by the literature research method, and explains the real situation through data analysis. The survey results are as follows: the number and geographical focus of colleges and universities offering Thai language majors are in southwestern China; the majors were established after 2000; the source of Thai language students is particularly unbalanced, mainly concentrated in the southwest; the current mainstream training model is 3+1 or 2+2, but the model of "language + major/skill" is the most respected; students report that Thai is the most difficult to translate, followed by phonetics, words and grammar, and there is an urgent shortage of Thai context; university libraries generally have outdated materials, and Thai reading materials Scarcity; the teaching team is relatively young and the number of teachers is not high; the employment situation in the north is better than that in the south, and the employment pressure in the south is huge; machine translation cannot replace human translation at present. When recruiting Thai translation talents, it is necessary to take into account the tendencies cultivated in the north and south of China.
