| dc.description.abstract | ศิลปกรรมที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นตามพระราชประสงค์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวมีหลายประเภททั้งงานสถาปัตยกรรม ประติมากรรม และจิตรกรรม ได้แก่ หอประชุม โรงเรียนวชิราวุธวิทยาลัย ตึกบัญชาการจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย อนุสาวรีย์ทหารอาสา อนุสรณ์สถานเจดีย์ยุทธหัตถี สะพานชุดเจริญ และจิตรกรรมภายในโดมพระที่นั่งอนันตสมาคม ศิลปกรรมเหล่านี้ ในภาพรวมสะท้อนแนวคิดสำคัญที่เพิ่งปรากฏในปลายสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวและเด่นชัดมากขึ้นในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวพระองค์ทรงสร้างงานศิลปกรรมภายใต้แนวคิด “อนุสาวรีย์” ตามแบบตะวันตกเพื่อสร้างประวัติศาสตร์และความทรงจำร่วมกันให้เกิดขึ้นกับคนในชาติ ท่ามกลางวิกฤตการณ์สำคัญทั้งการถูกท้าทายพระราชอำนาจจากกลุ่มผู้ก่อการกบฏ ร.ศ. 130 ตั้งแต่ต้นรัชกาลและการขาดความสามัคคีร่วมกันของคนในชาติ | |
| dc.description.abstract | The arts were created in the royal intension of King Vajiravudh, there are several types of architecture, sculpture and painting including the auditorium of Royal Page School (now Vajiravudh Collage)and Commander’s Building in Chulalongkorn University (now Faculty of Arts’ building), Anusaowaree Taharn a-sa, Anusaowaree Yuthahatti, Chareon bridges series and the painting in Anatasamakhom Throne-hall. These works of art reflect on the new concept that had recently appeared in the reign of King Chulalongkorn and been more pronounced in the reign of King Vajiravudh. King Vajiravudh created arts with the concept “monuments” from the western to create the history and memories together to come up with the nation among the major crisis, both the authority being challenged by the terrorist, RS 130 (1911 A.D.) since the beginning of the reign and the disunity of peoples in the nation. | en |
