| dc.description.abstract | “ฮีโร่” มิใช่เพียงผู้พิทักษ์ที่มากด้วยพละกำลังมหาศาล หรือเป็นวีรชน ผู้สละชีวิตเพื่อกอบกู้บ้านเมืองในยามสงครามตามที่มีการผลิตซ้ำเท่านั้น หากแต่ “ฮีโร่” ยังสามารถเป็นบุคคลธรรมดาที่อุทิศตน เสียสละเพื่อส่วนรวมได้เช่นกัน บทความนี้มุ่งวิเคราะห์และนำเสนอการสร้างภาพแทนของ “ฮีโร่” หรือวีรชนในสังคมจีนท่ามกลางวิกฤตการระบาดของไวรัสโคโรนาสายพันธุ์ใหม่ 2019 (โควิด-19) ผ่านการศึกษาข้อมูลจากบทสุนทรพจน์ของประธานาธิบดีสีจิ้นผิง การศึกษาปรากฏการณ์ทางสังคม รวมถึงการผลิตซ้ำของสื่อที่เกิดขึ้นในช่วงการระบาด ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นว่า การขยายขอบเขตนิยามของ “ฮีโร่” มีจุดเริ่มต้นจากสโลแกนของรัฐบาลจีนที่ว่า “บุคคลผู้ควรค่าแก่การยกย่องที่สุดยุคใหม่” ซึ่งสื่อความถึงกลุ่มบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ จิตอาสา ผู้อุทิศตนเพื่อดูแลผู้ป่วยและช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นในยามวิกฤตทุกข์ยาก ขณะเดียวกัน “ฮีโร่” ยังหมายรวมถึงประชาชนทุกคนที่ให้ความร่วมมือ ปฏิบัติตนตามแนวปฏิบัติของทางภาครัฐ พร้อมทั้งช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นในยามที่สังคมกำลังประสบวิกฤต ปัจจัยดังกล่าวได้กลายเป็นหนึ่งในความสำเร็จที่ทำให้ประเทศจีนสามารถฝ่าวิกฤตและควบคุมการระบาดของโควิด-19 ได้ในเวลาอันสั้น | |
| dc.description.abstract | A “hero” is not just a guardian with physical strength or people who sacrifice themselves in war to protect their homeland. A hero could be a typical person whose life is dedicated to serving others. The objective of this article is to analyze and present how a hero is represented in Chinese society during the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by analyzing President Xi Jinping’s speech as well as social phenomena, including media reproduction during the pandemic. The results indicate that the changed representation of a hero started with a political slogan from the Chinese government, “the most admirable people in the new era.” The quotation addressed medical teams and volunteers who devoted themselves to taking care of patients and upholding others during the outbreak. At the same time, the term hero also included people who complied with the government’s directions and helped those in need during a difficult time. This element became a part of China’s achievement over the pandemic as they could manage to control the situation effectively and promptly. | en |
