| dc.description.abstract | สหรัฐอเมริกาและประเทศไทยมีความสัมพันธ์ต่อกันอย่างลึกซึ้งทั้งในทางการเมือง เศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมประเทศไทยได้กลายเป็นป้อมปราการของการต่อต้านคอมมิวนิสต์ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ประเทศไทยยังได้นำพาตัวเองเข้าไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบทุนนิยมโลกที่นำโดยสหรัฐอเมริกา หลักฐานหนึ่งที่แสดงความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองประเทศ คือ สิ่งพิมพ์ในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าว บทความชิ้นนี้ มุ่งศึกษาการโฆษณาชวนเชื่อในนิตยสารเสรีภาพที่ถูกพิมพ์และเผยแพร่โดยสำนักข่าวสารอเมริกัน (USIS) ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ.2497 ถึง พ.ศ.2518 โดยนิตยสารฉบับนี้เป็นเครื่องมือหนึ่งของฝ่ ายต่อต้านคอมมิวนิสต์ บทความชิ้นนี้ มุ่งศึกษาบทบาทของนิตยสารในการต่อต้านคอมมิวนิสต์ในประเทศไทยอันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสงครามจิตวิทยาของสหรัฐอเมริกาในช่วงสงครามเย็น | |
| dc.description.abstract | The United States and Thailand have deep relationships, both politically, economically and culturally. Thailand had become a fortress of anti-communism in Southeast Asia. Thailand has also brought itself into being a part of the world capitalism which is led by the United States. One evidence showing relations between the two countries was the publication of that period. This article focuses on the propaganda in Seriphap magazine, which was published and distributed by the UnitedStates Information Service (USIS) during 1954 – 1975, as one of the tools for ounter-communism. This paper aims to discuss the magazine role in propagating anti-communism in Thailand, as a part of US psychological warfare during the Cold War. | en |
