| dc.description.abstract | บทความวิจัยฉบับนี้ต้องการศึกษาบทบาทการควบคุมยาจีนและธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องของรัฐบาลไทยระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2493-2518 ผ่านทางพระราชบัญญัติการขายยา พ.ศ. 2493 และ พระราชบัญญัติยา พ.ศ. 2510 และบทบาทและการจัดการของคณะกรรมการควบคุมการขายยา/คณะกรรมการยาในการควบคุมยาจีน มีสมมติฐานว่ายาจีนเป็นสินค้าที่มีตลาดขนาดใหญ่และมีการใช้ที่แพร่หลายในประเทศไทย ทำให้รัฐเข้าควบคุมโดยมีเหตุผลเรื่องการพัฒนาสาธารณสุขสมัยใหม่และความปลอดภัยของผู้บริโภค จากการศึกษาพบว่ายาจีนที่ผลิตในประเทศไทยและนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศมีจำนวนมากจนได้รับการจัดหมวดหมู่เฉพาะให้เป็นยาแผนโบราณต่างประเทศ อย่างไรก็ตาม การแพทย์แผนจีนกลับไม่เคยได้รับการรับรองจากกระทรวงสาธารณสุข ทำให้ประสบปัญหาการขึ้นทะเบียนยาจีนเพราะกระทรวงสาธารณสุขไม่มีผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และต้องอาศัยที่ปรึกษาจากภายนอก | |
| dc.description.abstract | This research article studies the role of government in the Kingdom of Thailand through the Sale of Drug Act B.E.2493(1950) and the Drugs Act, B.E. 2510(1967) as implemented by the Drug Committee in regulating Chinese medicine and the pharmaceutical business.As Chinese medicine acquired a large market share due to widespreaduse in Thailand, the government assumed control of the trade to bolsterpublic health and consumer safety. This study found that the amount of Chinese medicine in Thailand, domestically produced and importedfrom overseas,wassoabundantthat it was specifically categorized as foreign traditional medicine. However, traditional Chinese medicinehas never been approved by the Ministry of Health, causing problemsin the registrationof Chinese medicine because the Ministry of Health has no experts, and seeks advice from outsiders. | en |
