| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาวิเคราะห์และจัดหมวดหมู่ชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ ภาษาสันสกฤต และภาษาเขมรในศิลาจารึกอาณาจักรเขมรโบราณ และชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ปัจจุบันในจังหวัดเสียมเรียบโดยอิงตามกลุ่มความหมาย รวมทั้งดูแนวคิดและความนิยมการตั้งชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ในสังคมเขมรในยุคสมัยที่แตกต่างกัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ศึกษาสันสกฤตในสมัยก่อนพระนคร มีลักษณะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์หรือเทพเจ้า มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ความเป็นมงคล บุคคล ทิศทางตามลำดับ ส่วนในสมัยพระนคร พบว่ามีลักษณะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์หรือเทพเจ้า มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ ความเป็นมงคล บุคคล พืชพรรณ สัตว์ ลักษณะทางภูมิศาสตร์ สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ สิ่งที่น่ากลัว ทิศทาง น้ำหรือแหล่งน้ำ ตัวเลขสิ่งก่อสร้างหรือที่อยู่อาศัย ตามลำดับ 2. ชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ภาษาเขมรโบราณในสมัยก่อนพระนคร มีลักษณะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพืชพรรณ มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ แหล่งน้ำ บุคคล ลักษณะภูมิศาสตร์ สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ สิ่งก่อสร้างทิศทางสัตว์ อวัยวะ ตามลำดับ ในสมัยพระนคร พบว่ามีลักษณะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพืชพรรณมากที่สุด ด้วยเช่นกัน รองลงมาคือ แหล่งน้ำ ลักษณะภูมิศาสตร์ สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ สัตว์ สิ่งของเครื่องใช้ สิ่งก่อสร้างหรือที่อยู่อาศัย คำคุณศัพท์ ทิศทาง บุคคล ชนชาติหรือชาติพันธุ์ ตามลำดับ 3. ชื่อเฉพาะของสถานที่ในปัจจุบัน มีลักษณะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ พืชพรรณ มากที่สุด รองลงมา คือ ลักษณะทางภูมิศาสตร์ แหล่งน้ำ บุคคล สิ่งก่อสร้าง สัตว์ สิ่งของ คำคุณศัพท์ สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ความมีมงคล และพิธีกรรม 4. จากการศึกษายังสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า ชื่อสถานที่ที่เป็นภาษาสันสกฤตในอาณาจักรเขมรโบราณทั้งสมัยก่อนพระนครและสมัยพระนคร ส่วนมากมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับความเชื่อและศาสนา ในขณะที่ชื่อสถานที่ภาษาเขมรทั้งสมัยโบราณและสมัยปัจจุบันมีแนวคิดและความนิยมการตั้งชื่อสถานที่ตามลักษณะแวดล้อมทางกายภาพของพื้นที่เป็นสำคัญเหมือนกัน นอกจากนี้ในส่วนของลักษณะโครงสร้างชื่อสถานที่ พบว่า ชื่อสถานที่ในภาษาสันสกฤตจะมีโครงสร้างเป็นแบบ ชื่อเฉพาะและตามด้วยชื่อทั่วไป แต่ชื่อสถานที่ภาษาเขมรโบราณและภาษาเขมรปัจจุบันจะมีลักษณะโครงสร้างเป็นแบบชื่อทั่วไปตามด้วยชื่อเฉพาะ | |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is to analytically study proper place names which are in Sanskrit and old Khmer languages in inscriptions and modem Khmer languages used in Siemreap province. The results of this research are as follows : 1. Sanskrit place names in Pre-Angkorian period have their meanings denoting gods, auspiciousness, persons, directions and so on, whereas in the Angkorian period these place names regularlydeal with gods, auspiciousness, persons, plants, animals, geography, materials or tools, horrors, directions,water resources, numeric system, constructions and so forth. 2. The place names in old Khmer language in Pre-Angkorian period mostly point out plants, water resources, persons, geography, materials or tools, constructions, directions, animals, organs of human etc. whereas in Angkorian period the old Khmer proper names always denote plants, water resources, geography, sacred local gods, animals, materials or tools, constructions, adjectives, directions, persons, ethnic groups and so on. 3. The place names in modem Khmer language in Siemreap province, relate to plants, geography, water resources, persons, constructions, animals, materials or tools, adjectives, sacred local gods, auspicious things, rituals and so forth. 4. Among the various Sanskrit proper place names, the names denoting gods and auspicious things are mostly found in inscriptions of both Pre-Angkorian and Angkorian period. It is evident that faith and religions are the most important factors for utilizing the Sanskrit proper names. On the contrary among the various old and modem Khmer proper place names the names denoting plants, water resources and geography are mostly found. Thus, it is noteworthy that physical environment features are the most important factors in using proper place names of both old and modem Khmer. Besides, the structure of Sanskrit place names consists of proper names followed by common name, on the contrast Khmer place names, both in old and modem language, regularly appear in common name followed by proper name. | en |
