dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งหวังจะศึกษาเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของพรรคประชาชนปฏิวัติลาว (พปปล.) ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการเมืองในสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว (สปป.ลาว) ระหว่าง ค.ศ.1992-2016 โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาวิจัยเอกสารและนำมาบรรยายแบบพรรณนา วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มุ่งศึกษาการปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทของ พปปล. รวมถึงผลกระทบของการปรับเปลี่ยนบทบาทดังกล่าวต่อการเมืองของ สปป.ลาว ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ในช่วงระหว่าง ค.ศ.1992-2006 นั้น กองทัพประชาชนลาวเข้ามามีบทบาทนำในพรรคมากขึ้น กลุ่มผู้นำทหารจึงเป็นผู้กำหนดนโยบายของพรรคและเป็นผู้นำทางการเมืองในช่วงเวลานั้น อย่างไรก็ตาม ในระหว่าง ค.ศ.2006-2016 กลับเป็นช่วงที่พลเรือนมีบทบาทมากขึ้น แต่พวกเขาก็ยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเครือข่ายผู้นำเดิม ในการนี้ โครงสร้างหลักของพรรคจึงไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงมากนัก แต่มีการปรับเปลี่ยนผู้ดำรงตาแหน่งทางการเมืองในแต่ละช่วงเวลาโดยยังคงรักษาลักษณะของการนำรวมหมู่ไว้ แนวทางดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงการประนีประนอมภายในพรรคเพื่อรักษาสมดุลอำนาจและเครือข่ายอุปถัมภ์ภายใต้ระบบการเมืองแบบพรรคเดียว
dc.description.abstractThis thesis aims to discuss the roles of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on the politics of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) from 1992 to 2016. The documentary research method and descriptive analysis are applied to this study in order to investigate the changing roles of the LPRP and its impact on the politics of the Laos PDR. This research reveals that, from 1992 to 2006, the roles of Lao People’s Armed Forces in the politics noticeably increased in the matter of enlargement of many military commanders taking positions of political leaders. Consequently, most of the party’s policies which dominated the government policies were thoroughly directed by these generals. In spite of that, during 2006 and 2016, the power of civilian leaders in the party had been significantly escalated with their connections to the old leader’s network. Although the core of party structure remained to be uninterrupted, the political reshuffles at different times tended to preserve the collective leadership in the LPRP which indicated compromises among major political factions in order to maintain the stability of one-party regime.en
