Publication: ความเชื่อของกวีในการสดุดีกษัตริย์ที่สะท้อนจาก “กวิสมยะ”: ศึกษาจากจารึกภาษาสันสกฤต ที่พบในประเทศไทย

| dc.description.abstract | บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเชื่อของกวีในการการสดุดีกษัตริย์ที่สะท้อนผ่านกวิสมยะ หรือขนบการประพันธ์ของกวี ข้อมูลที่นําามาศึกษา คือ จารึกภาษาสันสกฤตที่พบในประเทศไทย จําานวน 7 หลัก ได้แก่ (1) จารึกวัดเสมาเมือง (2) จารึกสด๊กก๊อกธม 2 (3) จารึกปราสาททัพเสียม 2 (4) จารึกพบที่ปราสาทพนมรุ้ง (5) จารึกประจําาอโรคยศาลา ตาเมือนโต๊จ (6) จารึกวัดหัวเวียงเมืองไชยา 1 (7) จารึกเมืองเสมา ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากวีแสดงความเชื่อในการสดุดีกษัตริย์ที่ปรากฏในกวิสมยะ (ขนบของกวี) ซึ่งมีลักษณะร่วมกัน 10 ประการ คือ (1) พระพรหมเป็นเทพผู้สร้างกษัตริย์ขึ้นมา (2) พระเกียรติยศของกษัตริย์ขจรขจายไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด (3) กษัตริย์มีพระบรมเดชานุภาพเหมือนกับพระอาทิตย์ (4) กษัตริย์มีความงามเหมือนกับพระจันทร์ (5) กษัตริย์มีคุณลักษณะเหมือนกับพระจันทร์และพระอาทิตย์ (6) กษัตริย์มีความงามเหมือนกับกามเทพ หรืองามยิ่งกว่ากามเทพ (7) พระนางลักษมีมีความสัมพันธ์กับกษัตริย์อย่างแนบแน่น (8) กษัตริย์ทรงมีความรอบรู้เป็นเลิศ (9) พระบาทของกษัตริย์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ได้รับการยกย่องโดยกษัตริย์องค์อื่น (10) กษัตริย์มีความสัมพันธ์กับพันธุ์ไม้ใหญ่หรือพันธุ์ไม้วิเศษ จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้ทําาให้เห็นความเชื่อของกวีที่มองภาพลักษณ์กษัตริย์ว่าเป็นบุคคลแตกต่างจากบุคคลโดยทั่วไป คือ กษัตริย์ทรงเป็นสมมติเทพหรือเทวราชา ทรงมีคุณสมบัติภายนอกด้านรูปโฉมน่าชื่นชม ทรงมีความเก่งกล้าสามารถ และมีอําานาจมาก ทรงเป็นนักปราชญ์ และประการสุดท้ายกษัตริย์ทรงมีคุณต่อทวยราษฎร์ | |
| dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to study the beliefs of the poet’s praising of the kings through the poetic convention or kavisamaya. The samples were 7 Sanskrit Inscriptions found in Thailand (1) Wat-Sema-Mueang Inscription, (2) Sdokkok-Thom II Inscription, (3) Prasat-Thap-Siam II Inscription, (4) Prasat-Phnom-Rung Inscription, (5) Prasat-Ta-Mian-Tot Inscription, (6) Wat-Hua-Weang-Mueang-Chaiya I Inscription, (7) Mueang-sema Inscription.From the study, it is found that there were 10 kinds of belief regarding to the kavisamaya for praising the kings: (1) Brahman was the creator of the kings; (2) the glory of the kings pervades infinitely; (3) the kings were as powerful as the sun; (4) the kings were as beautiful as the moon; (5) the kings had the same features as the moon and the sun; (6) the kings were as beautiful as or more than Kāmadeva (god of love); (7) Goddess Lakṣmī had a close relationship with the kings; (8) the kings were omniscient; (9) the great kings’ feet were honored by other kings; (10) the kings were associated with gigantic or magical trees. It was foundthat the poets who praised the kings believed that the kings’ image was different from other normal people: the kings were demigod or “Devarājā” whose characteristics were admirable, bold and absolutely powerful, they were sages, and they were beneficial to their citizens.Keywords: Beliefs of Poets, Praising the Kings, Kavisamaya (Convention of Poet), Sanskrit inscriptions found in Thailand. | en |
