| dc.description.abstract | บทความนี้ต้องการศึกษาสภาวะอัน “คลุมเครือ” ในการจัดวางตําแหน่งแห่งที่ของการรับอิทธิพลวัฒนธรรมอเมริกันช่วง ยุคสงครามเย็นของวงดนตรีสุนทราภรณ์ เพื่อทําความเข้าใจความสัมพันธ์ทางวัฒนธรรมและความรู้ทางดนตรีแบบสมัยใหม่ของวง ดนตรีสุนทราภรณ์เมื่อเผชิญหน้ากับกระแส “อเมริกานุวัตร” (Americanization) อันเป็นกระบวนการของการปะทะสังสรรค์ ปรับ เปลี่ยนอัตลักษณ์ และรับมือกับความเป็นตะวันตกอย่างสลับซับซ้อน ผ่านกรอบแนวคิดแบบ “อัสดงคตนิยม” (Occidentalism) ซึ่ง ช่วยเปิดมุมมองและทบทวนปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง “ความเป็นไทย” และ “ความเป็นตะวันตก” อันมีผลต่อการจัดจําแนกแยกแยะการ แบ่งรับแบ่งสู้ การผสมผสานเลียนแบบหรือตอบโต้ ซึ่งกันและกันที่ส่งผลในการสร้างสภาวะความเป็นสมัยใหม่แบบ “ไทยสากล” | |
| dc.description.abstract | This article is to study the “ambiguous” position of Suntaraporn band in relation to American culture during the Cold War. It aims to understand the band’s cultural relationship and modern music knowledge when facing “Americanization”, which is a process of complex identity-changing interactions with the West. Through the concept of “Occidentalism”, this article expects to open up and revisit the relations between “Thainess” and “the West” that affects the process of classification, receiving, reserving, intermixing, copying and resisting influences each other that came to define the “modern” in “modern Thai music” of Suntaraporn in the Cold War era. | en |
