| dc.description.abstract | บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอำนาจ-ความรู้ การสร้างพื้นที่ และอิทธิพลของระบอบอาณานิคมของสยามที่มีผลต่อการก่อตัวของพื้นที่สมมุติที่เรียกกันว่า “ล้านนา” กระบวนการดังกล่าวแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะการสร้างพื้นที่สมมุติ (พ.ศ. 2416 - 2442) ระยะการเชื่อมโยงพื้นที่สมมุติเข้ากับชื่อ “ลานนาไทย” (พ.ศ. 2440 - 2490) ระยะการผลิตซ้ำชุดความรู้ต่าง ๆ ภายใต้กรอบของ “ลานนาไทยคดี” (พ.ศ. 2490 - 2530) และระยะการโต้กลับมรดกอาณานิคมสยาม (พ.ศ. 2530 - ปัจจุบัน) ผู้เขียนต้องการเสนอว่าอำนาจ-ความรู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเปลี่ยนการรับรู้จาก “ล้านนาโดยสมมุติ” ให้กลายเป็น “ล้านนา (ที่เชื่อกันว่า) มีอยู่จริงในประวัติศาสตร์” และชี้ให้เห็นว่าคำว่า “ล้านนา” เป็นเพียงตัวเลือกหนึ่งในการกำหนดพื้นที่และนำเสนอประวัติศาสตร์ของกลุ่มนครรัฐทางเหนือ | |
| dc.description.abstract | This article investigates the relationship between power-knowledge, the production of space, and the legacy of Siam’s colonialism, which has shaped the spatial imagination of “Lanna.”The process can be divided into 4 periods: the spatial imagination (1873-1899 A.D.),the designation of this spatial imagination as “Lanna-thai” (1897-1947A.D.), the reproduction of this spatial imagination within the academic field of “Lanna-thai khadi” (1947-1987A.D.), and the postcolonial reflection of Siam-Lanna relationship (1987A.D.-present).I argue that power-knowledge hasplayed an indispensable role in transforming Lanna from a spatial imagination into a historical reality. I further suggest that “Lanna”should be treated as just one of the many options to represent the northern states in historiography. | en |
