| dc.description.abstract | บทความนี้ศึกษาตัวบทนวนิยายภาษาอังกฤษของนักเขียนสตรีฟิลิปปินส์พลัดถิ่นสามเรื่องคือ Fish-Hair Woman(2012) ของเมอลินดา โบบิส The Mango Bride(2013) ของมาริวิโซลิเว็นและ Gun Dealer's Daughter(2013) ของจีนา อโพสทอล เนื่องจากนวนิยายกลุ่มนี้กล่าวถึงวิถีชีวิตของตัวละครสตรีฟิลิปปินส์โดยนักเขียนสตรีฟิลิปปินส์เอง อาทิเรื่องราวของแรงงานสตรีฟิลิปปินส์ในต่างประเทศ สตรีที่อยู่ในเหตุการณ์ประวัติศาสตร์ของฟิลิปปินส์และเรื่องราวของสตรีในครอบครัวฟิลิปปินส์ลักษณะที่ปรากฏในนวนิยายภาษาอังกฤษของนักเขียนสตรีฟิลิปปินส์พลัดถิ่นกลุ่มนี้สะท้อนการประกอบสร้างอัตลักษณ์และการสร้างประวัติศาสตร์ส่วนบุคคลขึ้นมาอีกชุดหนึ่งเมื่ออยู่นอกบ้านเกิดบทความนี้จึงมุ่งศึกษาว่ากลุ่มนักเขียนสตรีฟิลิปปินส์ที่ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเมื่อเผชิญภาวะพลัดถิ่นนําเสนออัตลักษณ์ของตนและของประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ต่อผู้อ่านนานาชาติด้วยรูปแบบและกลวิธีอย่างไรบ้าง | |
| dc.description.abstract | This article examines literary works written in English by three diasporic Filipino female writers: Melinda Bobis's Fish-Hair Woman(2012), Marivi Soliven’s The Mango Bride(2013) and Gina Apostol's Gun Dealer's Daughter(2013). These novels represent Filipino women working in foreign countries, their roles in the family and in Filipino history, documenting the construction of identity and the creation of personal history outside of the motherland. This article explores how female English-speaking Filipino writers represent Filipino identities and displacement to international readers. | en |
