- Publication2009—2019年针对泰国学生汉语教学研究论文的综述Li, Sisi; Sittivised, Sahattaya; 李, 思思; 番, 秀英 (2022)本论文以调查分析 2009-2019 年针对泰国学生汉语作为第二语言教学研究的论文为基础,根据研究综述结果整理各年份泰国学生汉语作为第二语言教学研究的论文,为进一步研究提供方便。首先笔者通过在 CNKI 中对 2009年-2019 年针对泰国学生汉语教学研究的论文进行调查,共发现相关论文 12393篇,然后笔者仅选择了与“教学”相关的864 篇论文作为研究对象(硕士论文856 篇,博士论文 8篇):采用定性和定量研宄法、文献分析法等,进行统计与分析。然后,根据汉语教学发展状況的特点,将近十一年来对外汉语教学类论文按论文类型对学位论文进行统计分析:基于论文的形式研究特征将对外汉语学位论文分为五种类型(专题研究、调查报告、教学设计、案例分析和教学实验报告):依照论文的研究内容重新进行了二级分类(语言要素类、教学方法类、专项教学研究类、习得研究类、教师行为与课堂类、教学资源类);根据前面研宄把对外汉语的发展特点分作三个时期:增势缓慢期、开始增长期、快速增长期。最后,根据调查结果预测未来泰国学生汉语作为第二语言教学研究的论文的发展趋势。笔者希望此类研宄能为后期研究对外汉语教学领域的研宄者提供数据依据及参照,研宄者可以着力于对尚待深入研究或没有研究的领域进行分析,为推动和预估对外汉语教学论文研究等提供参考价值。
- Publication45天内快速有效习得基础汉语教学法Yao, Kai; 姚, 凯 (2017)由于当今跨国交流的日益频繁以及中文作为其中一种重要语言且学习该语言的人数也十分之多,除此之外中文也被用作跨国交流的语言之一。而且中文的重要性在与日俱增,所以造就了泰国产生了“学习中文热”的现象。但是不论怎样,在泰国的中文教育教学还是存在着不少问题。譬如:师资力量不足(尤其缺少以中文为母语的教师);教材没有统一的标准以及大部分的教学方式仍未能把教学的重点放在学习对象的身上等等。以上的问题就导致了中文教学没能像预期想的那样成功。由于发现学生的听说能力仍不够好,本文就提出了为提升中文教育教学效率的方法,如:教授学生中国的历史和文化为了让他们能有动力去学习中文;教学重点放在组织集体活动;让学生能在学习时能以单独和集体的方式练习听说能力;教师要根据不同情形设计对话内容为了让学生们能练习中文的日常对话。最后,笔者提出了对中文教学行之有效的45天内速成教学法。
- PublicationA Vacational Training Course for Chinese Volunteers at Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University,Phuket CampusSrirak, Sudarat; สุดารัตน์ ศรีรักษ์ (2011)In March 2010, the Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University, in cooperation with the Confucius Institute at Phuket, provided a vocational training course to six Chinese volunteers. The course aimed to provide the Chinese volunteers with knowledge of Thai language and culture and foreign language teaching methodology. The training lasted for 10 months: March to December 2010, and the assessment was done through an achievement test and teaching practice evaluation. At the completion of the course, the trainees reached the training objectives with high scores from the achievement test (an average of 86%) and with high performance from the teaching practicum (an average of 85%). Closed- and open-ended questionnaires were employed to investigate the effectiveness of the training. Results from the close-ended questionnaire showed that the training was of high quality since the contents met the trainees’ educational and professional needs and it was an adequate integration of theory-based and practical-based training. Similarly, the instructors and mentor teachers satisfactorily completed their tasks as the instructors taught step-by-step, gave constructive feedback, and used effective teaching methods and the mentor teachers supervised the trainees closely, provided prompt assistance, and helped improve the trainees’ teaching performance. Moreover, findings from the open-ended questionnaire revealed that the training course fostered the trainees’ teaching confidence, knowledge, and methodologies. A recommendation made for the training was that it should be that Thai language courses should be more interrelated with the teaching methodology courses.
- PublicationAnalysis of the Application of Color Psychology Practices in Teaching Mandarin Pridipanomyong International College -Thammasat UniversityWang, Chunyu (2020)The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of color psychology on different fields and specifically it’s suitable use for teaching Chinese as a second language (CSL /CFL)to foreigners as well. This paper examines the psychological effects of color on memory as it relates to education. The study analyses the effect of colors that have both long-waves and short-waves. Selecting the correct color has the effect of establishing positive emotions and enhancing memory with respect to learning. In this paper, through the study and practical application of color psychology in our teaching, it finally forms a theory about color psychology as one of the auxiliary means in teaching. The combination of educational psychology to study the influence of color is not just a simple cognitive category. Our findings suggest that color-psychological effects are one of the theoretical means to the support our educational activities and can be used to complete teaching tasksmoreeffectively and efficiently .

- PublicationBOPPPS教学模型在泰国汉语文化教学中的运用研究Pan, Lei; 潘, 蕾 (2021)在中泰两国学者的共同努力下,泰国汉语教学在语言技能教学方面的研宄逐渐走向成熟,无论是对语言技能教学的课堂设计、实践以及评估方面等获得了许多优秀成果。但是学生的汉语交际能力水平的提升仍然达不到令人满意的水平,究其原因是泰国汉语教学过程中的文化教学仍然不足。为了提升泰国汉语教学中文化教学的质量,本文首先研究了泰国汉语教学中文化教学的理论和原则,其次从教学导入、目标、前测、参与式学习、后测及总结六个方面对在泰国汉语文化教学中使用 BOPPPS 教学模型的具体实践方法进行详细探讨,以期该教学模型能为泰国汉语教学中的文化教学提供可借鉴的思路和教学方法。

In view of this, the authors hereby simply discusses and analyzes the bilingual teaching of TCFL from the perspective of English-Chinese bilingual teaching in combination with the teaching practice in Thailand.

- PublicationChinese Reading Proficiency Guidelines: A case study of Chulalongkorn University studentsEk-atchariya, Sansanee (2007)This research is to study and propose Chinese reading proficiency guidelines for Thai students using Chulalongkorn University (CU) Chinese-majored students as a case in focus. In our analysis of each course in the curriculum of CU Chinese Language Major, we first apply the so-called Language Functional Trisection, as developed by ACTFL CPG to help classify different levels of reading proficiency . Next we compare ACTFL Chinese reading proficiency guidelines to those of CU. Our finding shows that in all levels not only is the reading ability of CU students majoring in Chinese higher than that of ACTFL's, their level of progression grows faster than that of ACTFL's as well.
- PublicationCIPPA 教学模式在泰国汉语课堂教学中的应用Zhou, Wenkang; Saema, Monlurdee; 周, 文糠; 马, 如丽 (2021)本文以泰国清莱皇家大学教育学院基础汉语班的 29 名学生为研究对象,然后采用 CIPPA 教学模式进行教学实践。研究目的是设计泰国清莱皇家大学教育学院基础汉语班汉语综合课的 CIPPA 教学模式教案,考察泰国清莱皇家大学教育学院基础汉 语班的学生使用 CIPPA 教学模式教案进行教学的有效度。研究工具包括 CIPPA 教学模式教案、前测与后测试卷。以实验法,采取“单一组前测与后测设计”的方法来考察教师使用 CIPPA 教学模式进行教学前后学生学习成绩的变化,利用平均值(x̄)、标准差(S.D.)、E1/E2、T-TEST 来进行数据统计分析。通过分析得出以下结论:通过对实验过程有效率和实验结果有效率的比较,E1/E2分别为:85 和 82.76, CIPPA 教学模式教案的有效度达到实验前假设为:80/80 的标准,这说明 CIPPA 教学模式教案具有一定的可靠性。通过对比学生前后测测试成绩的数据发现:学生的后测成绩的平均值为:41.38,高于前测成绩的平均值:33.21,显著性小于 0.01,测验的结果显著。表明学生在教师使用 CIPPA 教学模式进行教学之后,学生的汉语学习成绩得到了明显的提高。

More and more people know about the institute; at the same time, due to political factors, economic interests, cultural differences, communication, conflicts seem inevitable. In this paper, we will study cases of academic conflict which occur during the running of the Confucius Institute. We shall analyse why these conflicts arise, and examine options for resolving them.
- PublicationDISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF CHINESE LANGUAGE CLASSROOM: A CASE STUDY AT CHIANG RAI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITYHu, Dandan; Liangprayoon, Somlak; Mungthaisong, Sornchai; สมลักษณ์ เลี้ยงประยูร; ศรชัย มุ่งไธสง (2019)Classroom discourse analysis is an aspect of classroom process research. It helps us understand how a language is used in a classroom. This paper aimed to investigate the features of discourse in a Chinese as a second language learning classroom at Faculty of Humanities, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University (CRRU). The paper described and analyzed the structures of classroom discourse including interaction patterns, duration of teacher talk and student talk, types of teacher’s questions and feedback. The participants were one native Chinese speaker and 35 second-year Thai students majoring Chinese at the Faculty of Humanities. The three lessons in the Chinese Listening and Speaking course were observed and video-recorded to investigate the classroom discourse. The results showed that the interaction pattern in the present Chinese classrooms was Initiation-Response-Feedback (IRF), and the teacher-student interaction dominated the classroom discourse. Moreover, the duration of teacher talk was much longer than that of students talk in the three lessons. The large amount of displayed questions and more positive feedback were used in the Chinese classroom at CRRU. The results in this study should be beneficial for Chinese language teachers’ teaching to guide and encourage students to talk more in classrooms.

The guidelines obtained from this pilot project are expected to be further used to develop a standard proficiency test on Thai student's listening skills. At the same time, they can also be used for future reference to the selection and compilation of teaching materials on such topics.

In our analysis of each course in the curriculum of Chulalongkorn University Chinese Language Major, we first apply the so-called Language Functional Trisection, as developed by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) to help summarize students’ expected speaking ability on each subject and to determine to level each subject should belong. Next we compare ACTFL Chinese speaking proficiency guidelines to those of Chulalongkorn University from two different aspects; horizontal and vertical. Our finding shows that in all levels not only is the speaking ability of Chulalongkorn University students majoring in Chinese higher than that of ACTFL’s, their level of progression grows faster than of ACTFL’s as well.

Therefore, graduates with multiple language abilitiescan have a competitive advantage over others in the job market. This study investigated the factors which could contribute to student proficiency in French and Chinese and proposed how teachers can motivate students and enhance the foreign language learning of the students who do not study languages as their specialization.Pearson’s correlation was usedto examine whether there was a statistically significant relationship between student proficiency in French and Chinese and five factors (parental support, teacher influence, attitude, perception and classroom environment). From 82 respondents of the questionnaires for the French language and 77 for the Chinese language, it was found out that there was very strong correlation between Perception and Attitude for both French and Chinese courses for students with and without background in the language. For students without a background in French, student perception was also found to be correlated with teacher influence, but not as strongly as with student attitudes. Unlike the French courses, perception was correlated with teacher influence regardless of student background in Chinese. Only for the Chinese language was parental support correlated with students’ perception and also with attitude.
- PublicationHSK 四级中形声字的调查研究及其在对外汉语教学中的应用Wang, Yang (2017)汉字教学一直都是对外汉语教学中的难点和重点。本文以HSK 四级词汇为研究对 象,对HSK 四级中的1200 个词汇分别进行了定量、定性分析。主要从形声字的形旁和声 旁两个部分进行,形旁从形旁的数量、笔画数和形旁的表意程度去分析形旁在形声字 中的表义功能,声旁从声旁声母、韵母和声调表音情况分析其在形声字的表音功能。通过统计分析发现,形声字在HSK 四级词汇中占有重要作用,并且形声字形旁以笔画 少为主,大部分具有表义的功能,声旁具有较高的表音功能。通过上述对形声字的形旁和声旁分析,能够有利的指导对外汉语汉字教学,在形 声字教学过程中,教师应充分掌握形声字的上述特点,利用联想性原则、一致性原 则、趣味性原则,充分调动学生学习的积极性,引导学生们正确的学习和认知汉字。关键词:HSK 四级; 形声字; 形旁; 声旁; 对外汉语
- PublicationSome Suggestions on Localized Chinese Textbook Compiling: An Analysis of Basic ChineseWang, Shuhua; Mayoe, Artoe (2013)Basic Chinese is a series of local Chinese textbooks which have been better received than other kinds in Thailand. Through analyzing the sales volume, styles, texts, words, exercises, grammar, culture elements, the advantages and disadvantages of it, this paper offers suggestions in compiling localized Chinese textbooks in Thailand on the following aspects. First, cooperation with the Chinese language teaching experts should be a prerequisite for high-quality local Chinese textbooks. Second, adaptive use of different pedagogies should be used to help teaching. Besides, contrastive analysis of Thai and Chinese may help to reflect the surface features and in-depth features of the localized textbooks in the composing parts of the textbooks. Furthermore, a Thai-Chinese corpus can ensure that localized textbooks are designed with proper difficulty. Also related supporting para-teaching materials should be devised and proper update should be made when new editions of the textbooks come out.
- PublicationTesting Acheivement and Proficiency in Chinese Language Learners: The Elementary Chinese Learners and Job Applicants for Chinese CompanyParinyavottichai, Chanyaporn (2009)This paper discusses two types of test utilizing in two testing situations. The first type is criterion-referenced testing. The writer has used it to evaluate Chinese language learning achievements and progress of a group of foreign students enrolled in an elementary Chinese course. The second type is norm-referenced testing. In particular, two proficiency tests are designed for assessing the listening and speaking abilities of applicants who are applying for jobs in a foreign company in China. The writer has also employed the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) proficiency guidelines as the basis for choosing test formats and for creating test questions.
- PublicationThe Comparison between the Use of Audio-Visual Methods and Audio-only Methods in Improving Learners’ Listening Proficiency in Chinese as a Second Language ClassroomsWang, Chunyu (2022)Video has been widely used in teaching listening skills to second language learners. However, research on its use for the teaching of listening skills in Chinese as a second or foreign language (CSL/CFL) context is limited. This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using audio-visual materials and audio-only materials in improving students’ listening skills in CSL classrooms. The participants were divided into two groups, the control group (CG) (audio-only) and the experimental group (EG) (audio-visual), each containing 30 participants from different academic years. They were enrolled in the same Chinese listening class (HSK Level 4 to 5) at a university in Thailand. The data was generated using four question types, namely: 1) overall comprehension (OC), 2) true or false (T&F), 3) multiple choice (MC), and 4) vocabulary (VOC). The average scores from the term were subjected to Independent Samples T-tests. The results revealed a statistically significant increase in the average score of the EG group (OC/T&F/MC). In contrast, the CG group showed a significant difference from the EG group in terms of audio-only for the vocabulary questions (VOC). The study suggests that using audio-visual materials can be an effective method to teach listening skills in CSL/CFL, yet the results were inconclusive for the acquisition of vocabulary.
- Publicationกลยุทธ์การสอนตัวอักษรจีนสำหรับผู้เรียนชําวไทยจารุวรรณ เดชฤทธิ์ตันติกร; ปุนญิศา คงทน; ภัณวิตา ชีวผาติ; Detrittantikon, Jaruwan; Khongthon, Punyisa; Cheewapati, Panwita (2021)การเรียนตัวอักษรจีนเป็นพื้นฐานของการอ่านและการเขียนภาษาจีนเป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญในด้านการเรียนการสอนภาษาจีนที่ทั้งผู้สอนและผู้เรียนไม่สามารถมองข้ามได้ ในการเรียนภาษาจีนโดยทั่วไปแล้วมักพบปัญหาเรื่องการเขียนตัวอักษรจีนของผู้เรียนคือ การผิดพลาดของเส้นขีด ทิศทางการเขียนเส้นขีดและลำดับขีดของอักษรจีน ความไม่เข้าใจตัวอักษรจีนโครงสร้างเดี่ยวและโครงสร้างรวม เนื่องจากผู้เรียนส่วนใหญ่ขาดความรู้พื้นฐานเกี่ยวกับตัวอักษรจีน ไม่มีเทคนิคหรือกลยุทธ์ในการเขียนตัวอักษรจีน ทำให้เมื่อเรียนไปจนถึงระดับหนึ่งจะรู้สึกว่า ตัวอักษรจีนเรียนยาก เขียนยาก จนทำให้เกิดความรู้สึกท้อถอยและหมดกำลังใจในการเรียนภาษาจีน ดังนั้นถ้าผู้เรียนทราบถึงปัญหาในการเรียนตัวอักษรจีนอย่างชัดเจนและเป็นรูปธรรมรวมถึงเทคนิคและกลยุทธ์ในการเขียนตัวอักษรจีนจะทำให้ผู้เรียนไม่รู้สึกเบื่อตัวอักษรจีน รวมถึงสามารถช่วยลดข้อผิดพลาดในการเขียนตัวอักษรจีนได้ด้วย บทความฉบับนี้จึงเขียนขึ้นมาเพื่อรวบรวมปัญหาและเสนอแนะกลยุทธ์ในการสอนตัวอักษรจีนสำหรับผู้เรียนชาวไทย โดยผู้สอนสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการเรียนการสอนตัวอักษรจีนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยนำเสนอข้อมูลตามลำดับดังนี้ (1) ความรู้ในการสอนตัวอักษรจีนโดยสังเขป(2) ปัญหาการเรียนรู้ตัวอักษรจีนของผู้เรียนชาวไทย (3) กลยุทธ์ในการสอนตัวอักษรจีนสำหรับผู้เรียนชาวไทย (4) สรุป
